BIRTH DOULA
A trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible..
POST-PARTUM DOULA
PP Doulas provide evidenced based information on things such as breastfeeding, emotional and physical recovery from birth, mother–baby bonding, infant soothing, and basic newborn care.
RESOURCE SERIES
Sister Circles are monthly meet ups for mothers to come together as sisters to discuss a variety of topics. Every month we will pick a new topic. Having someone that we can talk and relate to can help to build each other up and motivate one another to be our best.
BREASTFEEDING
Breastfeeding, also known as nursing, is the feeding of babies and young children with milk from a woman's breast. Breastfeeding is the natural way of providing young infants with the nutrients they need for healthy growth and development.
CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION
Childbirth Education or prenatal education classes are informational classes to prepare you and your partner for labor and birth. These classes provide you with the education and knowledge you will need to understand the journey of pregnancy and birth.
PRE-NATAL/POST-PARTUM MASSAGE
Prenatal massage is similar to regular massage – it aims to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, to make you feel more relaxed. Carrying a baby inside you changes your center of gravity and puts a lot of stress on your back, neck, abdominal muscles, and shoulders.
PRE-NATAL YOGA
Prenatal yoga focuses on poses for pregnant women, in order to increase strength and flexibility. It also helps pregnant women to develop proper breathing and relaxation techniques for easier and more comfortable labor.
